Immigrants Rising’s Pre-Law Bootcamp is a four-day program designed to provide undocumented young people interested in applying to law school with extra support navigating the process and a community of other pre-law students and legal professionals.
The financial resources available to non-U.S. citizens differ in some ways from those available to U.S. citizens. Access the links in this document to explore financial strategies for applying to and paying for law school.
This program is for undocu+ students on a pre-med track or those interested in medical careers. Students may need supporting documentation such as ITIN, completed W-9 form, more documentation on parental information, etc.
This guide is designed to help undocumented people who are interested in applying to law school understand the process.
The Launchpad Scholars Program includes a Welcome Summit hosted by Latham & Watkins, substantial LSAT preparation, monthly leadership and career preparedness workshops, as well as mentorship opportunities with Yale Law School students and Latham lawyers. The program culminates in a weeklong residential program featuring application workshops, opportunities to engage with Yale Law School faculty and alumni, and visits to legal employers. There is no cost to apply to or participate in the program, and Scholars will receive financial support for LSAT preparation, LSAT fees, and application fees.
Please note that participation in the Launchpad Scholars Program will not provide a preference in the Yale Law School admissions process.
