9/21/23 Rapid Response Briefing on the recent DACA Decision by Judge Hanen
On Thursday, September 21 at 12 PM ET/11 AM CT, The Presidents’ Alliance co-hosted a virtual one-hour Rapid Response Briefing on the Latest DACA Decision with the TheDream.US, FWD.us, and MALDEF. Speakers addressed the legal context and implications of the most recent ruling on DACA, what it means for DACA recipients and undocumented individuals, and how higher education can support undocumented students in this time of need.
The briefing discussed how administrative and legislative actions can and must be taken to help undocumented students and dreamers as they face uncertainty.
