1) Read everything on this page (about the analytical writing section), without following any of the links:

2) Read everything on this page (Introduction to the "issue task"), without following any of the links:

3) On this page ("Understanding the context for writing" for the issue task), _do_ follow each of the two links that are embedded in the text, reading about the scoring criteria and also reading the sample responses and scorer's comments for essays receiving scores from the highest possible to the lowest possible, as well as reading the main text on the page. (Do not follow any of the links inside the box at the top – we’ll do those in the next assignment.)

4) Click the "Add submission" button, and note that you have completed the above.
